Financial Information
We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered for any office procedure, including consultations and required x-rays. For patients with medical / dental insurance plans, we will assist you with filing your insurance forms. Please be aware that insurance rarely pays the entire treatment balance even if the policy states, “100% coverage”.
To assist our patients, an “estimated treatment plan” will be created with an “estimate of your costs”. This could take up to two weeks to process. You will be required to pay the amount not covered by your insurance plan before treatment can begin. The amount you initially pay or that which was estimated is still only an estimate. We try our best to be as accurate as possible, however if you’ve undergone procedures that have not been processed at the time we call, your benefits can change. Account balances cannot be finalized until treatment has been performed, and payment has been received from an insurance carrier.
We will send you a monthly statement in the event we did not collect your appropriate copay at the time of service. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated.
If you have overpaid based on the estimated treatment plan, you will receive a prompt refund from our office.
If your account has a remaining balance, it may be paid by Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Care Credit®.
All account balances are ultimately the responsibility of the patient or guardian. Our experienced staff is here to assist you. If you have further questions regarding your account, please contact one of our financial coordinators at 508-553-8989. They are happy to work with you and ease any financial concern.
