Robert P. Moskal, DMD
Dr. Robert Moskal has completed extensive academic and surgical training both in New England and around the country at some of the world’s leading Universities and Hospitals. Dr. Moskal graduated from the University of Western Ontario, Canada in 1991 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Boston University’s Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry in 1995. He trained for four additional years and completed his residency training in Chicago at the University of Illinois. He received his Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1999 and also served as the Chief Resident.
While at Boston University Dental school, Dr. Moskal graduated top in his class while also being involved in community and collegiate activities. He was elected President of his class throughout his four years at BU and was the Student Body President in 1995. He was awarded numerous awards for high academic standing, clinical abilities, leadership, and ethical standards. He was elected into the Pierre Fauchard Academy and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and received the Alpha Omega Award for the highest academic standing.
He is a Diplomate and is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and also the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is a Fellow of the American and Canadian Associations of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and is a member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, Metropolitan District Dental Society, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Massachusetts Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and also serves as one of its’ anesthesia and office examiners. He is past President and Vice-President of the Parkway-Norfolk Study Group.
Dr. Moskal is an Active Staff Surgeon in the Department of Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Steward-Norwood Hospital and is also on surgery staff at Boston Medical Center.
Dr. Moskal opened the Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2002 with a mission of providing exceptional oral surgical care in an environment that is friendly, compassionate, understanding, organized and professional. He has done just that with the help of his awesome team, by continually striving to stay abreast of new advancements and by maintaining many of his core values learned from his family. (Be kind, be honest, work hard, be happy, be humble, live, learn, laugh, and love). He truly loves what he does.
Outside of the office, Dr. Moskal enjoys time with his family skiing, hiking, water sports, local sports and playing basketball. He lives locally with his wife Suzanne and their three children; Brandon, Lindsey, Alysse and dog Brady. He was their chauffer for years, but now just tries to figure out where they’re at, what’s going on and laughs-out-loud! 🙂
